Brenda Kay Snead

Brenda Kay Snead, aged 56, passed away on June 7, 2013. Brenda was born January 22, 1957 in Beckley, WV, the daughter of Beulah and Ralph Snead.

Brenda was a member of the Dwelling Place Church and was an active volunteer. Brenda thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors and working in the garden. She possessed a strong love and compassion for animals. Brenda owned many animals over the years; she rode horses throughout her life and was most recently a loving companion to her dog Lilly.

Brenda was an avid supporter of both the Humane Society and PETA. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent in the name of The Humane Society HSUS Dept. HHHONL 2100 L St. NW Washington DC 20037.

Brenda is survived by her sister, Libby Sturgell, brothers Gerald and Rick Snead, daughter Sheila Donahue, stepdaughter Lisa Knisely, stepson Chris Hicks, three grandchildren, her beloved dog Lilly and a number of other close relatives and friends.
