Brian Keith Drinkard, 38, of Lynchburg, died on Sunday, September 14, 2014. He was the husband of Charlene Lambert Drinkard. Born in Lynchburg on October 3, 1975,
he was the son of Nelson Keith Drinkard and Brenda Evans Drinkard.
In addition to his wife and parents, Brian is survived by one sister, Dawn D. Crouch and her children Christina and Adam of Rustburg; his mother and father-in-law, Barbara and Charles Lambert; one sister-in-law, Annette McClain and her husband, Seth and their children, Angel, David and Brandon; one brother-in-law, Lee VanHorn; and many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
Brian was a graduate of Rustburg High School and Central Virginia Community College and was an employee of Bausch & Lomb. He loved music and his family and friends. He was an avid reader, he especially enjoyed comic books.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg with the Rev. James Martin and the Rev. Jim Stevens officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service. Interment will follow at Fort Hill Memorial Park.
