Bridget Woods, 61, of Monroe, died Tuesday, December 3, 2019. She was the beloved wife of James Woods for 24 years. She was born on August 26, 1958, in Lynchburg, Va., a daughter of the late William and Frances “Polly” Fix.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, James Woods, Jr., Wayne Ramsey, Shane Ramsey, and Dane Ramsey; her brothers, Tony Fix, Stuart Fix, and Owen Fix; sister, Mavis Fix Phillips; grandsons, Matthew Woods, Rusty Woods, and Caleb Ramsey; and her mother-in-law, Patsy Woods.
A celebration of Bridget’s life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, December 6, 2019, at Tharp Funeral Home, Madison Heights. The family will receive friends one hour prior.
Interment will immediately follow the service in Meade Cemetery, 106 Old Wright Shop Road, Madison Heights, VA 24572.
