C. Frank Trent
Carroll \"Frank\" Trent, 79, passed away April 17, 2013.
Frank was born February 28, 1934, a son of the late Clarence Houston Trent and the late Coretha Brooks Trent.
Mr. Trent was preceded in death by his granddaughter: Jennifer Michelle Browning and his former wife: Christine Maddox Trent with whom he had five children.
He is survived by his children and their spouses: David W. and Pam of Madison Heights, Teresa Trent Jones of Evington, Linda Trent Bassett and James of West Point, UT, Richard W. and Theresa of Lynchburg, Becky Trent Beidler and Dan of Fishersville; 15 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; three brothers: Allen, Ronald and Malcom. In addition to his family he is survived by a special friend: Patty Callahan of Amherst.
Frank was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and retired from B & W Navy Nuclear Fuel Division with 35 years of service.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 \"" 8:30 pm on Sunday, April 21, 2013 at Tharp Funeral Home Lynchburg Chapel, 220 Breezewood Drive, Lynchburg, VA 24502 and other times at Frank\"™s residence.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 am, Monday, April 22, 2013 in the chapel at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg. Interment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions may be sent to: The Muscular Dystrophy Association in honor of his grandson: Jeff Hudson and his great-grandson: Isaiah Harada or the American Cancer Society.
