Calvin Lewis Walton, 60, of Lynchburg died Tuesday, August 8, 2017 in Guggenheimer Health and Rehab Center.
Born on August 22, 1956 in Lynchburg, Calvin was a son of the late Jerry Ronald Walton and the late Mary Ruth Gunter Walton.
He was an employee of B & J Electrical and Plumbing for years.
In addition to his parents, Calvin was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Earl Walton.
Calvin is survived by his sister Linda W. Harper and her husband, Kenneth; nephews, Bobby Aaron Wade, and his wife, Jamie, and their four children, Ronnie Walton, Jr. and his six children.
A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 11, 2017 in the Chapel of Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg, with Chaplain Wayne Lanham officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home and at other times at both Linda and Jamie’s homes.
Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg, is assisting the family.
