Carl Edward “Eddie” Stinnett

Carl Edward \"Eddie\" Stinnett, 54, of Lynchburg died Sunday November 3, 2013 at the Lynchburg Health & Rehabilitation Center.   Eddie was born September 14, 1959 in Lynchburg a son of the late John Marshall Stinnett and Linda Scott Stinnett of Lynchburg. He was an avid Miami Dolphins fan and a member of Memorial Christian Church.   In addition to his mother he is survived by two brothers, David Stinnett and his wife Dorma of Evington and Brad Stinnett of Lynchburg, two nieces Autumn Stinnett of Evington and Candice Wood of Richmond and a son Cory Stinnett of Lynchburg.   A Celebration of Eddie\"™s Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday November 7, 2013 at Memorial Christian Church with the Reverends Virgil and Sue Knipp officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the church.   In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to Memorial Christian Church 615 Perrymont Ave. Lynchburg, VA 24502.   Tharp Funeral Home and Crematory, Lynchburg (434-237-9424) is assisting the family.
