Carla Meagan Musgrove

Carla Meagan Musgrove, 43, of Lynchburg, Virginia passed away on Friday, July 12, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Carl F. Musgrove (Grumpy) and Margaret B. Musgrove (Maggie).

In addition to her mother, she is survived by husband, Troy Harris; son, James Peters Jr. and daughter Brittany Harris. Also sister, Colby and husband Gary Takacs, nephew Lucas, niece Lydia and Grandmother Kathleen M, Baker. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her Grandfather Clyde J Baker

Carla was born in Lynchburg, VA on August 15, 1980. She graduated E C Glass High School in 1998 and then pursued further education by attending the University of Phoenix. She was a member of Chestnut Hill UMC and “the Grumpy Gang” E C Glass Band Pit Crew during the mid-1990’s. She loved reading books and her dogs (Coco, Cici and Chanelle). She was a true Dallas Cowboy Fan, proudly supporting her team through every season. She also enjoyed driving her mustang and was the “go-to person” (problem solver, advice giver, tech support and listener) for her friends and family. 

A celebration of life will be held on August 17, 2024 at 1:00pm at Chestnut Hill UMC.
