Carlotta Kathleen Vaughan Forrester

Carlotta Kathleen Vaughan Forrester, 75, of Bedford, VA passed away on Monday, December 12, 2022, at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital. She was born in Williamsburg, VA on March 31, 1947. A daughter of the late Russell Howard Vaughan and Marjorie Kathleen Skaggs Vaughan. Carlotta was a very detailed and organized woman. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Her love for flowers was so evident. She was wonderful at making flower arrangements and often could be found reading her Bible. She was loved by her family and will be missed greatly.

Carlotta is survived by her husband, Donnie Lee Forrester; three children, Katrina “Tina” Forrester Sprouse and husband, Tracy, Timothy Lee Forrester and wife, Cathy, and Aaron Wade Forrester and wife, Audra; 13 grandchildren, Jessica Forrester, Jamie Forrester, Hunter Sprouse, Jordan Keye (Tony), Ian Forrester (Amber), Quinn Forrester (Darienne), Dylan Clark (Chasidea), Cody Forrester, Caelyn Forrester, Catye Forrester, Coralee Forrester, Claire Forrester and Hailie Durante; 5 great-grandchildren, Korra Forrester, Ruby Forrester, Sapphire Forrester, Beckam Forrester and Paislee Clark; brother, Russell Howard Vaughan, Jr. and his wife, Ellen. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.

A graveside service and celebration of Carlotta’s life will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Monday, December 19, 2022, at Ebenezer United Methodist Church with Pastor Ken Bledsoe officiating.
