Carol Lang Gallier, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on May 28, 1960, in Lynchburg, Virginia, Carol was raised in Madison Heights, where she developed a deep love for her family and friends that she treasured throughout her life. 

Carol faced her journey with strength and resilience, meeting every challenge with unwavering determination. Though she will be deeply missed, her loved ones find peace in knowing she is now healed and pain-free, reunited with her family. 

Carol was preceded in death by her loving parents, Robert and Grace Lang, and her brother, Greg Lang. She leaves behind cherished memories with her devoted husband, Ricky Gallier; her daughter, Stephanie Wade, and her husband DJ; her grandchildren Gaige, Skylar, Tiana, River, and Karli; and her great-grandchildren Georgia, Theo, Abby, and Jax. Carol is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Preston Lang and his wife Vicky, and Deborah Lang Caughey and her husband Richard, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in her heart.

Carol found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved scenic drives through the mountains, cherished camping trips to Piney River, and spent many happy days at Myrtle Beach, a place that always brought her peace. Above all, she will be remembered for her steadfast love of family and the joy and laughter she brought to every gathering. 

No funeral arrangements have been made at this time. Family and friends are invited to reach out to express their condolences and share memories. Carol will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
