Carol Ann Harper

Carol Ann Green Harper, 63, passed away peacefully in her home from Lung Cancer. She was born on June 13, 1960, and passed away on May 9, 2024 in Lynchburg, Virginia.

Carol is predeceased by her mother, Vivian Viola Rice; father, Richard Allen Green; sister, Judy Kay Millner; daughter, Sherrie Ann Lane.  

Carol is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Robert Dean Harper, Jr.; sons, Sam Lane, Steve Kerschner, and Allen Hicks; grandchildren, Nicholas Lane, Molly Outland, Matthew Creasey, Simon Creasey, Piper Lynch, Phoenix Lane, Abigail Kerschner, and Abigail Hicks; and great-grandsons, Cooper Lane and Jayden Bailey; and special friends, Susie Moreland, Rebecca Revis, and Geogianna Faunteroy. She is also survived by her special Yorkshire Terriers, Max and Macy. 

Carol decided at an early age she loved working with people.  She became a dedicated server and had great pride her entire life. Especially Cracker Barrel where she thrived from taking care of her customers, co-workers and many friends. Carol was an avid jewelry maker and loved to assemble challenging Lego sets. Some of her greatest traits were being high spirited and having strong convictions about things that were important to her.

A celebration of life will be held at Fairview Christian Church on June 13, 2024 at 4:30 P.M.
