Carol Slusher Tyree, 70, of Lynchburg passed away Tuesday, May 25, 2021.
Carol was born July 21, 1950 in Lynchburg a daughter of the late Edmund E. Slusher and Minnie Smith Slusher. Carol worked professionally as an office manager for Virginia Track & Equipment, was a long-time member of the American Legion Auxiliary, and attended Tree of Life Ministries.
She is survived by two sisters; Ellen Neas and husband Robert of Lynch Station, and Mary Mattox and husband Donnie of Lynchburg, two grandchildren; Carter Nance and Macie Nance both of Campbell County and a son-in-law Jason Nance of Campbell County. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter Heather Tyree.
Memorial services to be held privately at a later date.
