Carole Anne Decker Leary, 80, of Hardy, passed away Monday, December 7, 2015. She was the wife of the late William Peter Leary for 40 years.
Born December 26, 1934 in Montclair, New Jersey she was the daughter of the late Charles Ellimore Decker and Sadie May McLean Decker. She was also preceded in death by sons, Sean Michael Leary, twin sons, William and Peter Leary; and sister, Margaret Rodovich.
Carole is survived by her children, Erin Leary, Daniel Leary III, Patrick Leary, Dennis Leary; daughters, Mary Ann Leclaire; half-sister, Connie; and nieces and nephews.
Visitation and viewing will be held Saturday, December 12, 2015 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Resurrection Catholic Church in Moneta.
The Rite of Committal at the graveside will be held Sunday, December 13, 2015, at 1 p.m. in the church cemetery conducted by Deacon Chris Barrett.
Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Smith Mountain Lake is assisting the family.
