Carole Napier Kardian

Carole Napier Kardian, 76, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was born on March 15, 1949, in Petersburg, Virginia, a daughter of the late Darrell Richard Napier and Alberta Patricia Spence. In addition to her parents, Carole was preceded in death by brother, Richard V. Napier.

Carole worked as a special education teacher for over 25 years, showing tremendous patience and kindness not only to her students, but to everyone she met. She was also devoted to her Siamese cat, Captain Kirk.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Garrell Kardian; daughter, Patricia “Pat” Kardian; brother, John D. Napier (Diane); sister, Majorie N. Meador (Michael); sister-in-law Dorothy Napier, and numerous other family and friends.
