Carolyn Webb Creasy

Carolyn Webb Creasy, of Lynchburg, passed away on November 10, 2024. She was born in Maryville, TN, a daughter of the late Ray Silas Webb and Mildred Bean Webb.

Carolyn graduated from Everett High School in Maryville, Tennessee. She spent a fulfilling 45 years as a valued employee at Randolph-Macon Women's College, where she made lasting contributions and developed lifelong friendships.

In her free time, Carolyn was a loving and devoted presence to her family and friends. She cherished the moments spent at the beach, where the waves and sunshine brought her joy and peace. A true animal lover, Carolyn, doted on her beloved fur baby, Grayson, and had a deep affection for all animals.

Carolyn was also a passionate cook, often preparing meals for those she loved, and enjoyed the simple pleasures of shopping, especially when it involved finding just the right gift for someone special. A lifelong fan of Elvis Presley, she could always be found humming along to his classic tunes, and his music brought her great comfort and happiness throughout her life.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Michael J. Robinson; a sister, Virginia Webb Biven; and a brother, Donald Rex Webb. 

She is survived by a daughter, Natasha Creasy Crosby, and her husband Stephen; Natasha's father, Larry Gene Creasy; brother, David Ennis Webb; sister, Nancy Webb Kotakes; and longtime friend, Denise Cottrell.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at 1 p.m. at Spring Hill Cemetery. 

Carolyn will be available for viewing Tuesday, November 12, 2024, from 12 – 5 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to your local humane society.
