Carolyn Marie Lunsford, 64, of Altavista died Monday, June 22, 2020.
Carolyn was born June 15, 1956 in Danville, a daughter of the late Jesse Berger Short and Mary Porterfield McCann of Appomattox. In addition to her mother, she is survived by a son Larry Wayne Dalton and wife Melissa of Rustburg, two sisters, Mary Frances Short of Evington and Debra Martin and husband Tony of Appomattox, one brother Jesse Frank Short and wife Conny of Germany, two step-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
In lieu flowers please make memorial contributions to the Lynchburg Humane Society.
