Carrie Ann McAmis, 100, of Forest, formerly of Cleveland, TN died Monday, February 27, 2017. She was the wife of the late James Willoughby McAmis.
Carrie was born on September 14, 1916 in Cleveland, TN a daughter of the late Frederick Carl Lindner and Cleo Gallaher Lindner.
She is survived by her daughter Carolyn Hughes and her husband Darel “D.C.” Hughes of Forest. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son Michael McAmis.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. A Memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Beulah Baptist Church with Dr. Dennis Hollandsworth officiating.
Interment will follow at a later date in Cleveland, TN.
Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg, is assisting the family.
