Carroll F. Mack, 62, of Lynchburg, Virginia passed away on Friday, February 9, 2024. He was the son of Elvine Mack Beasley Hewitt of Lynchburg.
Carroll was born on August 30, 1961, in Lynchburg, Virginia. He was a product of the Lynchburg City School System, where he graduated from Heritage High School in 1979. He then joined the United States Marine Corps in August of 1979. After three years of service, Carroll was honorably discharged and held several jobs before becoming an owner/operator Allied Cab driver.
Carroll joined the Smyrna Seventh-Day Adventist Church at an early age.
Carroll is preceded in death by his sister, Rosaline Beasley; niece, Marquitta Mack; nephew, Norman Mack; and great-niece Bentleigh Oliver.
In addition to his mother, Carroll is survived by his children: Shirelle Lewis and Shantel Lewis; grandchildren, Terrell Carter Jr., Julian Lewis, Tristan Lewis, Legend Lewis and Supreme Lewis; siblings, Eugene Mack, Annette Mack, DeMonna Mack-Wynn, Alberta Beasley, Cassandra Payne of Raleigh, NC, and Edward Beasley; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many loving friends in the community.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at The Jubilee Family Center, 1512 Florida Ave., Lynchburg, Virginia, 24501.
