Carter Craft, 19, of Lynchburg, Virginia, died February 7, 2016, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident Friday, February 5, 2016. He was born in Lynchburg on June 26, 1996, to Kendall S. Craft and Martha A. (Coleman) DeJarnette. He was a graduate of Jefferson Forest High School 2015, was a sales executive at Billy Craft Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Lynchburg, also was a member of Thomas Road Baptist Church and had a strong relationship with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Carter is survived by his devoted father, Kendall S. Craft and step-mother, Stacey M. Craft of Lynchburg; his loving mother, Martha A. (Coleman) DeJarnette and step-father Steven R. DeJarnette of Forest; his precious brother, Addison S. Craft and three step-siblings, Justin L. Bell, Steven N. DeJarnette and Amanda M. Mahone.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Ronald E. Coleman of Lynchburg, and his maternal aunt, Teresa C. Barber of Appomattox.

He leaves behind his maternal grandmother, Gloria L. Coleman of Lynchburg; his paternal grandparents, Billy P. Craft and Rosalie B. Craft of Forest; several aunts, uncles, cousins, a niece that he adored, Aryana E. Craft of Concord and dearest cousin/best friend, W. Keith Coleman of Lynchburg.

Tharp Funeral Home and Crematory in Lynchburg are handling funeral arrangements. Visitation/viewing will be held at Billy Craft Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram located at 2639 Lakeside Drive, Lynchburg, between the hours of 6:00 pm and 9:00 p.m. Thursday, February 11, 2016. The funeral will be held in Thomas Road Baptist Church located at One Mountain View Road in Lynchburg on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jonathan Falwell officiating. A graveside service is to follow at Fort Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family asks you to consider donations to the Thomas Road Baptist Church for the Hope of Life Orphanage in Guatemala.
