Cassandra Lynn Neylon

Cassandra Lynn Neylon, 68 of Rustburg, died Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at Guggenheimer Nursing Home. She retired from the Tazewell Scholl System after 17 years as a home economics teacher.

 

Born October 20, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Charles Vincent King and Thelma Holbrook King.

 

She is survived by her daughter, Diana Baldassarre and husband, Matthew; son, Michael Neylon and wife, Lorie; two grandsons, Michael and Jacob Baldassarre; and two granddaughters, Paige and Mattie Neylon.

 

The family will receive friends today, Friday, August 30, 2013 from 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m.        at Tharp Funeral Home, 220 Breezewood Drive, in Lynchburg.  

 

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Tharp Funeral Home with Chaplin Wayne Lanham officiating. Interment will follow in Virginia Memorial Park.

 

In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to The American Cancer Society.
