Cathleen “Sue” Meyer Page, 92, of Forest died Tuesday August 11, 2015. She was the devoted wife of the late Edwin R. Page.
Sue was born November 7, 1922 in Bartlesville, OK. A daughter of the late Charles E. Meyer and Pearl Weiland Meyer. Sue was a graduate of Michigan State University who was active in her community belonging to the: First Presbyterian Church, Englewood Garden Club, the Natural Bridge Hiking Club, the Lynchburg and Fort Hill Woman’s Club, was Past President of the A.A.U.W. Sue loved traveling the U.S. and the world, especially with her husband.
She is survived by her daughter Patricia P. Franklin and her husband Robert of Forest. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother Norwood E. Meyer.
The family will receive friends from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. Saturday August 15, 2015 at Tharp Funeral Home Lynchburg. Interment will take place at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery.
