Cecil Irvin Reynolds, Sr.
Cecil Irvin Reynolds, age 86, of Lynchburg, died November 20, 2012, after complications from illness. He was predeceased by his wife of 63 years, Virginia Puckette Reynolds.
Born in Campbell County, September 1, 1926, he was the son of the late John Jervis Reynolds and Georgie Hensley Reynolds. He was a life time member of Beulah Baptist Church.
He was a graduate of Rustburg High School and was employed as Paymaster of Craddock-Terry Shoe Corporation most of his working years.
He is survived by his four children \"" Rebecca Reynolds Glass and husband David, C. Irvin Reynolds Jr. and wife Donna, Lisa Reynolds Stone and husband Charles, and Jamie William Reynolds and wife Mary Lee, along with eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. He\"™s also survived by one sister, Manie Reynolds Wilkinson.
He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, four brothers, and two sisters.
Family will receive friends at Beulah Baptist Church on Saturday, November 24th, at 10:00am. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with interment afterwards at Cumbie Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Cumbie Memorial Cemetery Trust, c/o Robert A. Goff, 1218 Village Hwy, Rustburg, VA 24588.
