Cecil Edward Jennings, Sr.

Cecil Edward Jennings “Papa Duck” passed into his eternal life on September 21, 2024, after a long illness. He was the son of Rachel Cunningham Jennings and Edward “Boy” Jennings.

He leaves behind to love and miss him, his wife Bettie Jennings, three sons; Cecil “Win” Jennings and his beautiful wife Sheila of Lynchburg, VA, Robert Jennings and his beautiful wife Melanie of Concord, VA and Jason Jennings and his beautiful wife Carrie of Eastbrook, one beautiful daughter; Ashley Watkins of Rustburg, VA, nine beautiful grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Additionally, he is survived by his brothers; Eldridge and Charlie along with his wife Jean, and one sister; Margie Martin and her husband Henry of Rustburg, VA and many nieces and nephews.

His family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to Centra Hospice for assisting at this difficult time. There will be no service, however, a gathering of friends and family will take place on Saturday, September 28, 2024, beginning at 5:00 p.m. at the home 1167 Beaver Creek Crossing Lynchburg, VA.
