Charles Aaron Radford

Charles Aaron Radford, 74, of Forest died at his home Sunday following a lengthy battle with cancer.  He was the husband of Virginia Cyrus Radford.

 Born in Lynchburg, Chuck was the son of the late Charlie and Virginia Wood Radford.  He served his country in the U.S. Navy and was retired from GE/Ericsson.  He was a member of Forest Presbyterian Church.

 In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Charles Edward Radford and wife, Patricia of Aikea, S.C.; two grandsons, ENS. Christopher Eric Radford of Arlington  and ENS. Andrew Charles Radford of Norfolk, and numerous nieces and nephews.

 A celebration of Chuck\"™s life will be conducted at Forest Presbyterian Church at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 28, 2013 with Pastor Morgan Whitfield officiating.  Inurnment will be private in Fort Hill Memorial Park.  Family will receive friends following the service.
