Charles D. Nuckles Sr.
Charles David Nuckles Sr, 73, of Lynchburg, died Saturday, July 27, 2013 in Lynchburg General Hospital. He was the husband of Linda Nuckles for 52 years.
Mr. Nuckles was born September 6, 1939 in Lynchburg, the son of the late Charles Raymond Nuckles and the late Ruby Greer Nuckles.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his son: Charles David Nuckles Jr. of Lynchburg, three sisters and brothers-in-law, Lillie B. and Richard Sanderson of Elizabethtown, N.C., Debbie N. and George Feagan of Rustburg and Joanne N. and Robert E. Lee, Jr. of Lynchburg, two nephews and four nieces.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00AM, July 30, 2013 in Spring Hill Cemetery, with the Reverend Robert E. Lee and Reverend Samuel F. Jones officiating.
Tharp Funeral Home and Crematory, Lynchburg (434-237-9424) is assisting the family.
