Charles Daniel Druen, 72, of Lynchburg, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2016. He was the husband of the late Joyce Harvey Druen.
Charles served his country in the U.S. Army during Vietnam, with the 82nd Airborne Division and later with the military police. He was an investigator with American International Group (AIG) and his home church was Jamestown Presbyterian.
He is survived by his children, a daughter, Kimberly Thompson and partner, Doug Komoroski; a son, Chuck Druen and wife, Judy; a daughter, Dani McCormick and husband, Larry; seven grandchildren, Christina, Sierra, Marshall, Thomas, Druen, Cody and Casey; a sister-in-law, Judy Allwood and husband, John; a brother-in-law, Tom Harvey and wife, Debby; an aunt, Luanna Hawley and husband, Robert.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Wilson and Steve Druen.
The family will receive friends at the residence on Monday, May 9, 2016 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Inurnment will be private.
