Charles David Hendrick, 76 of Lynchburg, died on Monday, January 5, 2015.
He was born Thursday, December 15, 1938 in Campbell County; and was the son of Lucille Tibbs Hendrick Walton and the late Charlie Hendrick.
In addition to his mother Lucille, he is survived by a step-brother, Robert Walton and his wife Ollie, all of Lynchburg and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Thursday, January 8, 2015, at Union Hill Baptist Church, 12935 Red House Road, Brookneal, Virginia 24528. Interment will follow in the Church cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
Memorial contributions may be sent to Union Hill Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 12935 Red House Road, Brookneal, VA 24528.
