Charles E. B. Lollis, Sr.

Charles Edward Burks Lollis, Sr. , 57, of Lynchburg, died Sunday, November 18, 2018. Charles was born on January 5, 1961, the son of the late Robert Leon Lollis and Margaret Burks Fishkin. He is preceded in death by his stepfather, Henry Williams Fishkin.

He is survived by his two sons, Charles E. B. Lollis Jr. and friend Madelyn Reynolds, Dylan Alexander Lollis; and former wife Alice Ritchey-Lollis; stepson, Steven Andrew Ritchey; a brother, Robert Leon Lollis, Jr. (Brennan) and sisters, Joan Bachman Lollis and Harriet Elizabeth Lollis.

William Henry Fishkin (Janet) of Lafayette, Ca, Beth Susan Restaino (Joe) of Freehold, NJ, Karen Charlotte Burger (Ken) of Crawfordsville, IN and Thomas Joseph Fishkin (Michelle) of Long Branch NJ.

Charlie and his family appreciate, so very much, the doctors and nurses on the CTICU at Lynchburg General Hospital for their kind and beyond- excellent care. We have so much to be thankful for. The family also asks that everyone “Be like Charlie”, and do a kind thing for another person. Soon.
