Charles Edward Ward, 74, of Lynchburg, died peacefully, Monday, February 7, 2022.
Born January 10, 1948, in Lynchburg, he was a son of the late William T. Ward and the late Celia W. Ward. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Roy Ward.
Charles was a woodworker that loved fishing and telling fish stories.
He is survived by his son James “Jamie” Ward and his wife, Nicole, of Powhatan, Va. brother, David Ward and his wife Trish of Rustburg, Va., grandchildren, Brandon James Ward and Dakota Calvin Ward, a great-granddaughter, Gracelyn Ward, nephew, J.W. Ward, two nieces, Brenda Mabry and Brandy Ward Grishaw and her husband Mark
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 13, 2022, at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg.
