Charles Lemuel Rowe

Charles Lemuel Rowe, 83, of Lynchburg, VA, died Saturday, June 28, 2014. He was the husband of Mary Barnes Rowe for 62 years.
Born Saturday, October 11, 1930 in Aurora, NC, Charles was a son of the late Benjamin Riley Rowe and the late Lucy Caldwell Rowe. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and the Korean Conflict.
In addition to his wife, Charles is survived by two sons: Robert L. Rowe and Edward W. Rowe; a daughter, Candice Mosher; two grandchildren: Dr. Christopher Benton, and Blair Wade and her husband, Jake; and two brothers: Benjamin R. Rowe, Jr., and John T. Rowe.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 30, 2014 at Spring Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. Tom Bryant officiating. Military Honors will be provided by American Legion Post-16.
