Charles Rottman, 84, of Rustburg died Monday, September 24, 2018.
Born in Wilton Iowa, September 2, 1934 he was the son of the late Charles and Ramona Rottman.
Charles retired from the United States Army and served in the Vietman and Korean War. He was the purse, wallet, and belt maker of fine leather and art which he has passed on to his nephew, Danny Wagner. He enjoyed building model airplanes, umpiring baseball games, playing baseball and watching his nieces and nephews in all sports. Charles was the uncle that all children would be proud of and love. He always wanted to put a smile on his family’s faces.
In addition to his parents Charles is preceded in death by his sister Charlaine Wagner and her husband David, and sister Marne Conley.
He is survived by his nieces and nephews, David Wagner and his wife Betty of AZ, Cindy Camp of NJ, Danny Wagner of SC, Roxeanna Terrill of Rustburg, Bruce Conley and his wife Alexis of HI, lot of great nephews and nieces and one great great niece and nephew.
