Charles Sale

Charles Edward Sale, age 94, of Lynchburg, Virginia, passed away on July 29, 2024. Charles was born January 17, 1930 in Appomattox, Virginia the son of the late Bryant and Nora Sale and beloved husband to his wife of 72 years, Alice Sale. 

Charles is survived by his wife, Alice and three children, five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two children.

Charles was a US Army Korean War Veteran. He founded Sale Concrete Construction which his son, Gary Sale, now owns and operates. Charles never met a stranger and loved to visit with people, talk about Jesus, laugh, and drink coffee at any local dive. He will be missed.

A private funeral service will be held at Fort Hill Memorial Park on August 1, 2024 at 10am.
