Christine Brown Wright
Christine Brown Wright, 93, of Lynchburg, died Tuesday, June 14, 2011. She was the loving wife of the late Luther Warren Wright.
Born in Gladys, March 20, 1918 she was a daughter of the late James Fred Brown and Lena Nowlin Brown. Christine was a member of Quaker Memorial Presbyterian church and a retired secretary for Campbell County School Systems.
She is survived by a brother, James N. Brown; a devoted niece, Julie B. Banton and husband, Mike; two great-nieces, Lauren Banton Martin and husband, Scott and Whitney Banton; one son, Robert E. Wright; three grandchildren, Melissa W. Franklin, Angela Wright, Derik Wright; one great-grandchild, Amanda Camden.
She was predeceased by a special sister-in-law, Lorene Brown.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 17, 2011 in Fort Hill Memorial Park, with the Rev. Luke Farwell officiating.
