Christine Creasy Dooley

Christine C. Dooley, 87, of Richmond and formerly of Bedford, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, May 15, 2012. She was born on Christmas Day, 1924 in Bedford County, daughter of the late Wyatt Edward Creasy and Roxie Miear Creasy. In addition to her parents, Christine was preceded in death by her husband, L. Pete Dooley.

Christine is survived by her two sons, John F. Dooley and his wife, Julie of Bedford and Jerry W. Dooley and his wife, Susan of Glen Allen; two grandsons, James A. Dooley and Peter W. Dooley both of Glen Allen.

Christine was a member of Thaxton Baptist Church. She worked as a beautician for many years at Lady Fair Beauty Shop and later at Kathy\"™s Beauty Salon. She also spent many years helping her husband operate Pete\"™s Grocery. She enjoyed gardening.

A graveside services will be conducted at 1 PM, Friday, May 18, 2012 at Virginia Memorial Park with Dr. Eldridge V. Cullum officiating. Arrangements by Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Bedford, 586-3443.
