Christopher Michael Acree (Eric Schar)

Christopher Michael Acree, known to many as “Eric Schar”, age 26, of Madison Heights, Va. died unexpectedly in a construction accident on Friday, October 14, 2016. Born Friday, May 25, 1990 in Henderson, North Carolina, he was the son of Christie Throneburg  Acree and the late Michael Acree. He was a graduate of Amherst County High School.

In addition to his mother, surviving are his sister, Kasey Barnette; paternal grandmother, Essie June Acree; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Harold and Gloria Throneburg.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Elon Baptist Church located at 145 Younger Drive Madison Heights, Va. 24572. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, October 19, 2016, at the church.
