Christopher Todd Dixon

Christopher Todd Dixon, 41, of Lynchburg, died Thursday, March 17, 2016. He was the husband of Allison Tinsley Dixon for 15 years.
Born October 28, 1974, in Lynchburg, Todd was the son of Steve and Vikki Dixon of Bedford and son-in-law of Jessie and Barbara Tinsley of Lynchburg.
In addition to his wife and parents Todd is survived by his sister Angela Dixon Avignone and her husband Micah of Pensacola FL, two brother-in-laws; Michael Tinsley of Arizona, Phillip Tinsley and wife Kristie of Altavista, and a host of family and friends.
Todd was preceded in death by a nephew, Gabriel Fariss.
Todd was self-employed and served as a member of the US Army National Guard. He was known for his infectious personality, and his love of laughter and affection for everyone, which will be greatly missed.
The family will receive friends from 4pm to 6pm Sunday, March 20, at Tharp Funeral Home in Lynchburg. A graveside service will be held Monday, March 21st, 12:00 pm (Noon), at Virginia Memorial Park in Forest.
Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg, is assisting the family.
