Cindy Kay Harris

Cindy Kay Harris, 54, of Lynchburg died Wednesday July 3, 2013.

Cindy was born March 2, 1959 in Lynchburg a daughter of Lester Payne Harris and Sadie McConville Harris of Lynchburg. Cindy was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she is survived by a sister Mary Tobias of Lynchburg, a brother Glenn Harris (Roxanne) of Lynchburg, four nephews: Jonathan, Matthew, and David Harris, and Robert Williams, two nieces: Amy Anderson (Barry) and Tonya Arthur, and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother Tony Harris, her maternal grandparents Sam and Clara McConville, and her paternal grandparents Joe and Alma Harris.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday July 7, 2013 at Tharp Funeral Home Lynchburg.  A Celebration of Cindy\"™s Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday July 8, 2013 at Pleasant View Baptist Church with Dr. Ricky Ewing officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Hill Memorial Park.
