Cleo Speight Iovinetti
Cleo Speight Iovinetti, 88, of Lynchburg passed away Saturday, April 17, 2010 at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the loving wife of the late Rudolph Iovinetti.
Cleo was born December 26, 1921 in Fountain, NC, a daughter of the late Charlie Speight and Nettie Mae Eason Speight. She was a member of Stanton River Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children, Louis Iovinetti of Forest, Clara Marie Carey of North Carolina, and Elizabeth Mae Barber of Lloyd, MT, six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; her brothers, Lyman Speight of Fayetteville, NC and Roscoe Speight of North Carolina, and her sister Anne Barrett Speight of Aspen.
In addition to her husband and parents, Cleo was preceded in death by her brothers, Walter, Leland, and Bruce Speight and her sister, Pauline Rocco.
The family will receive friends from 7:00-8:30 p.m. Monday, April 19, 2010 at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg.
A funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 20, 2010 in the chapel at Tharp Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Mooney officiating. Interment will follow in Roanoke Presbyterian Cemetery, 444 Ridgeway Road, Brookneal, VA.
