Clyde H. Wilkinson, of Lynchburg, died on Friday, August 11, 2017, at home.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jane Wilkinson.
Born in Lynchburg, on June 7, 1932, he was a son of the late E. Clyde Wilkinson and Evelyn Wilkinson. He retired from Wilwyn Inc. as owner/project manager. Clyde enthusiastically participated in dog shows as a judge and exhibitor, and was a member of American Pointer Club, James River Kennel Club, and Dog Owners Training Club. He also loved cruising and Virginia Tech Football.
He is survived by his partner, Meg McMichael; his daughters, Kym Kulis and her husband Tom, Kerry Wilkinson; grandsons, Jim Kulis and Gray Wilkinson; and his sister, Frances Wilkinson.
The family will receive friends at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg on Sunday, August 13, 2017 from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. A celebration of Clyde’s life will be held in the chapel of Tharp Funeral Home on Monday, August 14, 2017 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery.
