Cody Mac Johnson
Cody Mac Johnson, 19, of Big Island, died Sunday, February 14, 2010.
Cody was born Saturday, August 25, 1990 in Lynchburg, VA, a son of Charles "T.C." Johnson and the late Teresa Duff Johnson. He was a graduate of Liberty High School and was a member of Sharon Baptist Church.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his sister, Nikki Johnson (Justin Robinson), his best friend and \"brother,\" P.J. Horsley, his grandmother, Betty Jean Duff, his aunt, Vivian Minnis (Larry), his aunt and caregiver, Ada McDaniel, his caregiver, Charles Hamilton, cousins, William White (Misty Seekings), Shelia Lacks (Kendall), and Kevin Minnis (Rhonda); and a host of friends and other relatives.
Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg. Services will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 18, 2010 at Sharon Baptist Church with the Rev. Gary Harmon, the Rev. Mark McCoy, and the Rev. Bryon LePere officiating. Interment will follow in Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery.
