Lou Thornsbury, 78, of Lynchburg passed away Monday, September 22, 2014 at Lynchburg General Hospital with his family by his side. Born March 17, 1936, in Litwar, WV; he was a son of the late Joseph and Ruth Morgan Thornsbury.
Lou served four years in the Army National Guard and was employed for 31 years at Progress Printing Company. He was an awesome husband, father, and grandfather. A caring, compassionate, and gentle soul; he was also a prankster, practical joker and funny man. He loved Dale Earnhart and gospel music.
Filled with unconditional love for his family, Lou is survived by his wife of 46 years, Brenda Hurt Thornsbury; three sons, Teddy
