Connie Marie Markham, 69, of Bedford, died Sunday, July 3, 2016. She was born on June 18, 1947, a daughter of the late Collis Roan Markham and Annie DeWitt Markham. She was retired from Longwood Industries. She was a faithful member of Bedford Presbyterian Church and Peaks of Otter Rebekah Lodge #32.

A funeral service and celebration of Connie’s life will be conducted at 11:00 am on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Tharp Funeral Home, with Rev. John T. Salley officiating.
