Constance Bernetta Jones, 59, of Lynchburg, died on Monday, September 24, 2018, at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital. Constance was predeceased by her parents and her sister, Sherri Jones.
Born on January 12, 1959 in Lynchburg, she was a daughter of Paige Jones, Sr., and Cassie Scott Jones.
She was a graduate of E.C. Glass High School. She was baptized at Fifth Street Baptist Church but has been a longtime member of Family Life Church.
Survivors include her brothers, Paige Jones, Jr. and Eric Jones; nephews, Brandon Jones (Kyshawn) and Wesley Jones; uncle, Lawrence Scott (Rose); aunt, Doris Franklin; numerous cousins, including very special cousins, Anna Maria Brown and Gail Williams; the many children to whom Constance was a godmother and special friend, Shirley Rose.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday September 29, 2018 in the Chapel of Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg with Pastor Ray A. McQueen officiating.
The family invites you to join them for a reception immediately following the service at Family Life Church, 22059 Timberlake Rd, Lynchburg, VA 24502.
