Consuela Prestina Rucker- Greene 44, of Lynchburg, Virginia departed this life on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at her residence. God took her hand and lead her beautiful soul through the gates of heaven. Consuela was born on October 18, 1979, to Preston W. Scott, Jr. and the late Faye Rucker.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her Maternal Grandparents Roseanne Mutz, and Joseph Woodson, Aunt Roseanne Mutz; Uncle Solomon Mutz; and Uncle Frank Ferguson. Paternal Grandparents Mary E. Scott, and Preston W. Scott, Sr, and Aunt Rebecca Lee (Alfred).
Consuela was the wife of Roderick L. Greene for 9 years. She was a member of Destiny Christian Fellowship in Lynchburg, Virginia. She attended Heritage High School. She was a caregiver for many years. She enjoyed cooking and playing card games with her children and family. She was a wonderful mother to her children. The love she had for her children was nothing short of amazing. She was always willing to provide a helping hand if she could. She spread her love everywhere she went, and she had a heart of gold.
Consuela leaves to cherish her memories, Father Preston W. Scott Jr., and Stepmother Velma L. Scott of Madison Heights, VA. She is also survived by her son Joshua L. Donald (Joshy) of Lynchburg, VA; Daughters, Simone J. Rucker (Peanut) of Jarratt; and Saqauia A. Pruitt (Ladybug) of Lynchburg. One Sister Felicia Rucker of Harrisonburg, Virginia. Four Nieces; Dasija Burton, Alexus Smith, Aaliyah Smith, Shakira Smith; two Nephews; Rakweon Smith, Jaheem Smith, and one Great-Nephew; Christopher Smith. Three living Aunts; Kaye Hall of Lynchburg; Minnie Jordan (Arnold) of Amherst; and Mary A. Nappier (Percy) of Amherst, and one Uncle Warren Mutz, Sr. of Lynchburg. Also, a devoted Uncle & Aunt; Percy & Mary A. Nappier. A host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
To our Mother in Heaven: Mama, thank you for always loving us, and guiding us. Even though you are no longer here with us. We can still feel your love guiding us. You are always in our hearts. We love you and miss you dearly!

A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at 1:00 pm at the Tharp Funeral Home, Madison Heights Chapel.
