Corey Christopher Kidd

Corey Christopher Kidd passed away on October 19, 2023. He was born on September 16, 1996, to Christopher Kidd and Melanie Brown.
Corey attended Rustburg High School and after school went into the workforce as an HVAC Technician. When not at work, Corey enjoyed being outside, fishing, spending time with friends and family, and watching his beloved Dallas Cowboys play.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Theresa Jean Staton and Leslie Carroll Kidd.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Selena Kidd; grandparents, Randy and JoAnne Brown; special friends, Tara O’Brien and J.J. Farrell; and numerous uncles and aunts. 
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg with a visitation one hour prior to the service. 
Tharp Funeral Home and Crematory, Lynchburg is assisting the family.
