Cris Warren Tyler, 64, of Bedford, went to be with the Lord Thursday, June 11, 2015.
Born on August 9, 1950, he was the son of the late Warren Wayne Tyler and the late Meta Holihan Tyler.
He was a graduate of Amherst High School, attended Lynchburg College, and held an associate’s degree from Central Virginia Community College. Cris was also a veteran of the U.S. Army and a collector of Antiques.
Surviving are his wife, Teresa Tyler; sons and daughters-in-law, Will Tyler and Carrie, Josh Tyler and Natalie; granddaughter, Renea Tyler; grandsons, Brice and Conner Reichard; sister, Beth Tyler.
A celebration of life will be held Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg with Reverend Jerry Parr officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the celebration.
