Cynthia Helen Smith, 76, of Lynchburg died Sunday September 25, 2011. She was the loving wife of the late John Robert Smith.
Cynthia was born March 23, 1936 in Virginia a daughter of the late George Haddock and Dorothy Wheeler Haddock. She was retired from a career in banking, enjoyed horseback riding and traveling the world
She is survived by her daughter Sherri Nobles and her husband Jeff of Hot Springs, AR, a grandson Charles Griggs of Hot Springs, AR, a granddaughter Lisa Edge of Haskell, AR, and two great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday September 28, 2011 at Tharp Funeral Home Lynchburg with Pastor Ron Cox officiating.
