The well-known “City of Lynchburg Knuckle Boom Operator” and “Dallas Cowboys Fan” Dale Donnell Morris, age 61, of Lynchburg, received his heavenly wings on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at 8:15 a.m.
Dale Donnell Morris was born September 16, 1959 in Lynchburg, the son of the late Ralph Lee Morris and Geraldine Bayes Morris.
Dale Morris is survived by his children, daughters, Latasha Snead, Dwana Perkins; son Antonio Perkins; siblings, Ronnie Morris, Damon Morris, Blake Morris, Pamela Morris-Brown, Lily Morris, Terry Morris, Amos Morris, Harold Morris, Steve Morris; grandchildren, Ayzriel Snead and Omari Garnett along with a host of extended family. In addition to his father, Ralph Lee Morris, he was preceded in death by his sibling Deborah Morris.
Dale Morris added so much value to individuals that knew him, and he will always be known for his strength, gatherings, laughter, and endless, but often thankless support that he provided others.
The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. to 1p.m. on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory. A celebration of Dale’s life will be conducted at 1p.m. on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment will follow in Forest Hill Burial Park located at 2310 Lakeside Drive (Rt. 221) Lynchburg, Virginia 24501. PLEASE WEAR A MASK.
