Damon Lee Andrews, 39, of Bedford passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Bedford Memorial Hospital.
Born May 2, 1975 in Bedford, he is the son of Carolyn Anne Creasey. Damon also leaves behind his financee Debra Karnes; son Damon Lee Andrews, Jr.; daughter Danica LeeAnne Andrews; brother Reggie Bryant; Uncle Jimmy Andrews; cousin Austin Andrews; Aunts Janice Hodges, and Diane Andrews; special friends Mike Roberts, and Rhonda Campbell Dooley and countless other friends and cousins.
Damon is preceded in death by his grandparents William (PaPa) and Lois (Grandma) Andrews.
Damon was a great father and very much a momma’s boy, he was a Redskins fan and he loved to fish.
A funeral service will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, September 6, 2014 at Tabernacle Church of God in Big Island with Rev. Samuel L. Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Hunting Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, Friday, September 5, 2014 at Tharp Funeral Home, Bedford. Arrangements by Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Bedford, (540) 586-3443.
