Dan passed away peacefully in Lynchburg, VA on February 22, 2025.
He was born in Lynchburg but moved to Portsmouth, Virginia with his family as a young child. He remained in the Tidewater area for most of the rest of his life.
Dan served in the Air Force, stationed in Germany and in Guam, and after discharge he worked as a machinist. But his enjoyment came from pursuing his passions – photography, scuba diving, piloting a small plane, and riding his motorcycle. He returned to Lynchburg for the last 6 years of his life, residing at the Heritage Green Senior Living Facility.
Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Kathleen Webber, and his brother, Fred Webber. He is survived by his brother Robert “Allen” Webber and wife Jean, one nephew and one niece.
