Dana Tyree

Dana Mae Rodgers Tyree, 94, went to be with her Lord, Sunday, August 14, 2016.  Born March 8, 1922 in Campbell Co. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Hilda Rodgers; her husband, Robert W. ; son, Walter Tyree; two sisters, Mary White and Bettie Doss.

She is survived by one sister, Ruby Kirby; three sons, Brent Tyree(Carole), Reginald Tyree (Brenda) and Robert Tyree, Jr.; eleven grandchildren, Sherry Campbell, Brandon Tyree, Kevin, Brian and Gregory Daly, Kimberley Lu, Jason Tyree, Reginald Tyree II, Brandis Saunders, Angelia Dooley and Dakotah Hamilton; fifteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 16, 2016 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Tharp Funeral Home, 220 Breezewood Drive, Lynchburg, Va. 24502. A graveside service will be conducted at Fort Hill Memorial Park Wednesday, August 17 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Danny Smith and Rev. Russell Cheatham officiating.
